Can the names be changed of food items?

I have been using MFP for a few days now and my list is already a mess.
Because all products have different name order or are named with an other name after I scanned the barcode.

Like my mayonaise isn't listed as mayonaise but only the name of the mayonaise. If I stranger looks at it they won't know what it is because what is "light & creamy"?! It can be anything.. And the butter on my bread is simply called "light" ehhh ok...

How to change that so it makes more sense and is more organized?

You can either search the database to see if there is another entry for that item with the name as you prefer it. Or you can create your own entry named as whatever you want.

If the name of the product isn't correct on entry, make sure to double check the numbers as well. If someone didn't even enter the name accurately, there's a chance they entered other info wrong as well.

Aha thank you. So you cannot change listings that are already there. I did notice some listings are not complete either. Decided to compare it with an other app earlier today and here it says I'm short on certain vitamines and such but in the other app it's all fine.
