Anyone not using a scale?

So starting in December, I tried to switch to intuitive eating, as I had reached my weight goal in May of last year and lost 55lbs initially. I wanted to not have to track all the time so it seemed like the next best step. Also in December I decided to not use a scale anymore and to just go by how my clothes fit instead.

Things went okay for a while, then quarantine started.

So intuitive eating hasn't gone so well in quarantine, but not using a scale has. Sadly my binge eating started up again with all the stress that quarantine entails. I haven't weighed myself at home at all. Sadly they had to weigh me at the doctor's office on Monday, and it was upsetting when they said my weight out loud when I was trying to avoid looking. I've gained about 80% of my weight back.

So since then I've gone back into a deficit, i'm back to calorie counting. I'm still refusing to use a scale and will not be using one unless it's required at a doctor's appointment, (and next time i'll ask that they not say it out loud). I also will not be "clean eating", I feel that it's a myth to be honest and I will still be eating whatever my body feels like eating, but still trying to stay within 10g of my macro goals. I'll mainly be focusing on protein as I like to lift.

I will be taking measurements once a month and that's it, maybe even less than that.
Thankfully after all this time, I've learned that weight loss isn't a sprint, it will take as long as it takes. This doesn't stress me out.

Has anyone else tried this? Losing weight without a scale?
