After i am done with my workout, the machine shows a workout summary where it shows time, average heart rate, maximum heart rate etc. one of the readings therein says ( for eg) 22.40 in zone 98 - 150. It is a different number everyday. I wanted to know the significance of this ?? and how is it related to weight loss, if it is.

It refers to the amount of time you spent with your heart rate between 98 and 150, the so-called "fat-burning" range. Don't worry about it overly much. Keeping your heart rate in the target range doesn't have a significant impact on calories burned. I burned a crazy amount of fat on Insanity, and my heart rate was above that level pretty much the whole time. Just push yourself and keep your heart rate up, and you'll be fine.0
