Help! Sleeve patient how Can I gain 10 lbs

I had the weight loss sleeve surgery in 2018. Im 5’4 and weighed 243 lbs. I was addicted to food and at the time it seemed like my best option. I lost 100 pounds within a year. Im waaay too thin. I’m 144 but would like to gain 15 pounds. Anyone out there that can tell me what to do. I get full fast, I started making shakes with weight gainer from GNC. I feel it helps with my calorie intake. Lmk any advise please....

I think you should talk to your doctor about wanting to gain weight since gaining 15 lbs puts you in the overweight category based off your BMI.

You're playing with fire. Quite a few sleeve patients regain; but not because they want to.

You're still too soon into your weight loss for your brain to be fully caught up with your body. The same applies to people who have known you a long time and who are now seeing a transformed person in front of them

Objectively, at a BMI of 24.7 you're barely into normal weight, so no, you're not "waaay" too anything, other than *possibly"* no longer either obese or overweight.

Maintain and strength train, especially after a fast weight loss that may have impacted your lean mass.

On the off chance you're an outlier with body fat in the teens and BMI of almost 25... a picture is worth a thousand words...

A friend of mine had sleeve surgery December of 2018. At 5”5, she went from 285 to 140. She looks fantastic. Not too thin. And she plans on having skin surgery down the line. Maybe you aren’t used to seeing yourself at this new low weight. Like the above poster said, your brain hasn’t caught up to your new body.
