Starting over..... again ....

Hi all. I've used this app in the past.
I'm 45, 5'2, and at 197 lbs. I managed to lose a few lbs by logging with Fitbit, but I think MFP is a bit easier for that, so here I am.
Although my weight is up there, I'm fairly active. I walk most days of the week and have been taking up biking, averaging around 20 miles a week. It's not a ton, but my knees generally have something to say about it, so I'm working on strengthening them but not over stressing.
Before the gyms closed, I was going a few times a week.
Weight loss is such a struggle for me. I'm on thyroid meds but the rest of me is healthy.
I've never used the community features on this app before... and hoping I'll find some folks that are in the same general boat that I'm in. Maybe I'll find some inspiration.... something that'll keep me logging every day and that may chase off the looming discouragement.
Any tips, insight, or just a friendly hello is most welcomed.
