How often should I reassess my caloric intake?

I’m a female who is 5’7 and 130lbs. I’m aiming to eat between 1,800-2,000 calories a day for maintenance. How long should I wait before weighing in and reassessing how much I should be eating to maintain and making changes if needed?

Frequency of weighing is very personal but the more data points you have the quicker your true weight trend will appear. You might notice that daily weighing to track trends and understand the drivers for normal weight fluctuations seems to be a very common trait amongst successful long term maintainers though.
A month is the very common recommendation for females to keep calories stable so that cycle related fluctuations become clear.4 -
I agree that if you are new to maintaining weight Especially I would weigh frequently. Daily is my preference. I've been at a maintenance weight for years and I know that it's important, so I just do it.2
