Read this today and thought it had some great points to ponder, especially for folks who have been less active during the last few months and will be getting back out there as gyms, studios, and the great outdoors open back up.

    Nice one.

    I go through the same thing every year (3-4 month away from the gym) because of keeping an eye on my mum.
    I say I do a recomp/decomp/maintenance cycle.

    I never completely abandon working out, but when I get back to lifting heavy things, not just bodyweight, it is always 2 steps back before I can move forward.

    End result, one of the slowest recomps in history, but it works for me right now.
