Hi all
I have been on MFP on and off for a long time but my first time saying anything on the forums
I am currently in quarantine like I assume a lot of you are, and have put on quite a few pounds while there, approaching the original weight I had back when I started using this often. I want to at least work myself down to a healthy build and i'd like my clothes to fit as well before I have to go back to work.
In terms of proper goals, id like to wittle myself back down to 195 lbs, or being at 12% bf whichever I can obtain first.
Personally I struggle in two main areas. Firstly, I am an emotional eater, specifically boredom or exhaustion. Boredom I'll snack, exhaustion I'll order out food like pizza. The other challenge I face is that I LOVE cooking! I love discovering new recipes and when I am cooking it tends to go from healthy to improved flavour, higher calorie quickly. Most of what I make is not terribly unhealthy per say but when your goal is to lose fat, you cant afford to get pff the sides of your meatballs in oil as opposed to baking them for example.
I'm looking forward to talking to a bunch of people. I dont have a lot of friends doing the same as me so please feel free to say hi I wanna meet people doing the same as me!
