Hi all!
My name is Mike and I'm in Iowa. I'm starting down a healthier path again, but his time I will make it stick. I'm 6' 2" and started at 294lbs 2 weeks ago. I'm at 287.1lbs and I'm doing the 16:8 IF and eating sensibly/exercising. I feel great and am looking forward to getting healthier. I'm 53 and don't have any underlying health issues, but they are coming if I don't change my wicked ways.
Hit me up if you need a friend or encouragement. I don't need pics of your bathing suit parts or a relationship. My girlfriend is awesome and so are her bathing suit parts. However, if you want some encouragement on your journey, send me a friend request. Good luck everyone.

Mike

Here is my bathing suit part. It keeps my shorts up:

    But on topic:
Be careful with drastic changes. That is a common pitfall. It often leaves you wanting to "get back to normal" when it is your normal that needs to change. It is better, imo, to adjust your normal in small manageable changes.

    Anyway... good luck!

Good Point, Novus. I actually exercise a lot and have a very strenuous job. I eat healthy, just in Herculean amounts. I like the intermittent fasting as I'm not really a breakfast guy. I'll need to watch what goes in my coffee in the morning, but other than that, it's been simple. Thanks for the advice and encouragement. Put a double knot in that bathing suit string....
