Looking for running fanatics!! Not into losing weight just running fast

I just started logging again to help increase energy, feel better, run faster..... I'm based in Little Rock, AR . Originally I signed up a year ago so I could get accountability to help me drop just a few extra baby lbs that were hanging on from baby 3 (born January 2019) but I noticed it helped in so many other ways!! (less booze, less guessing if I ate the right balance, etc).

I recently competed at the Olympic Trials Marathon in February after having an awful sickness for couple months in January-February (not sure it could have been COVID never got tested). I survived (187th place 2:48) but definitely not what I was hoping to do when I was crushing it in Fall 2019.

I'm back to training but now focusing on running shorter distances (the mile & under) which I never focus on so this will be fun. I ran poorly (for me) in my first timed mile last week and thought it was time to get on top of nutrition because I was just feeling awful (likely extremely dehydrated/ not enough protein). I'm new to the south so this heat/humidity is so much tougher to stay hydrated with training !!!
