Lost the long-time lack of energy and feeling of being useless to my family.
Lost many sizes and my enormous backside!
Lost the feeling of sadness and lack of control
Lost the slow waddle I was used to and the feeling of embarrassment at my size
Lost the fear that in the next 5 years, I would need a liver transplant.
Lost the fear of limited years left with my family

I’m going to tell you what I wish I had realized back in 2007–the first time I dropped 60 pounds—yes the first time. Don’t get complacent. Don’t think that just because you lost weight that it’ll magically stay off because it won’t. If you are not constantly monitoring your weight and your calorie intake you will gain it all back plus more. This is my second time now losing weight, I re-lost my original 60 pounds I lost back in 2007 (plus 10 more) and I could kick myself for regaining it all back. Don’t become complacent. Stick to your guns every single day. Record your food and keep weighing yourself. Make your first weight loss effort be successful for the rest of your life.
