Once upon a time I weighed over 300. Lost down to the high 190's and kept it off for years. Gained back 40 lbs over the last 6 years.
Although I just (re)started on MFP I migrated over from another system after using it a couple weeks. Started at 240 and basically at 230 or 231 right now. Immediate goal is 200 with a minor goal of 100kg which isn't horribly far away.
Anyway counting calories and exercise WORKS. Worked for me the first time and will work for me again. Real pleased with my progress and darned proud of a lot of you guys here as I read over the boards.

Im over 300 pound as we speak and the most I ever lost was like 60 ponds a while ago, you have some impressive numbers though. I really hope to have something similar in the future. Minus the gaining back part of course. Best of luck.1
