I am still waiting for my heart rate monitor to get in, and I am curious what I should log my workouts under until it gets here

I do TDEE -20%, so I only log my workouts so I can see when I do them. I log as 1 calorie.
I did a few of the workouts with an HRM just out of curiosity, and I never burned more than 350-400 cals per session.0 -
Aerobic - High Impact0

I love this trend in forum posts..........taking the time to open the topic, reading the question, and then giving the answer to a question that was never asked.0 -

Sorry for misunderstanding that the OP was looking for a burn estimate. Next time I'll run it by you.0 -

Thanks, I appreciate that.0 -
Agree aerobic - high impact.
However, it is honestly a crap shoot until you get that HRM.
Depending on your fitness level I could see the calories burned varying between 200-1000. With a lot of the routines you basically do the exercise until you can't. Someone going the full duration at a high intensity will burn a ton more than someone who runs out of steam after a few repetitions. Also, jumping up and down is going to take a ton more work for a 300lb person vs a 115lb person.
Be sceptical about eating all your calories back until you get that HRM. Would be a shame to do all that work and gain weight.0
