Scales haven't moved in two weeks

I'm find this really frustrating. I don't have that much to lose so that could explain it. But it's not just the fact I haven't had a loss, it's literally the same weight every day, no fluctuations - 10 stone 2, 10 stone 2, 10 stone 2, day after day.
Do you think my scales are goosed? Surely they should go up and down some days?

Something you might want to try: weigh yourself holding something heavy, and then weight yourself normally again. Some scales have fake consistency built into them, and the heavier weigh-in should counter that.
I would say that no fluctuations would be strange indeed, but sometimes our weight does strange things2 -

Thanks, I'll try that. I feel myself cringing suggesting that my scales are broken and that's the reason I'm not losing weight but it just seems so odd that they're not moving at all. The scales were cheap as chips. I got them out of Home Bargains for £5.

I'm not sure how much the 2 in 10 stone 2 are in grams, but if it's more than 100 grams then it might take a while to show on the scale, especially if you have very little to lose. However, if the scale always shows the same weight then I would question the scale.0

I had this. Then 3 pounds gone in a day! Weird times.0

Does your scale only show in whole pound increments? Or does it show decimals? If it does not show decimals and you only have a small amount to lose, it may take a couple of weeks to shift enough to change to the next pound.
Other than that, accuracy is key when you're in the final stretch. I'm not terribly active (working on it) and have ~17 pounds left. My deficit is based on .5 pounds per week so 250 calories deficit per day. WIthout total accuracy, it would be easy for me to eat at maintenance accidentally. Had 178 grams (raw weight before cooking) of chicken breast the other night for dinner - it did not look like much when the cooked food went on the plate but it was filling/satisfying. If I'd eyeballed it, I would have assumed a 'normal' portion to be bigger and could have taken in an extra 40-60 calories easily. Do that sort of thing multiple times a day and the small deficit is gone.
To wrap it up: use a food scale for solids and aim for as much accuracy as you can manage. Have patience. And perhaps get a digital scale that shows pounds in decimals if yours does not.0 -
The scales show whole pound increments. I think I'm going to invest in some new ones as this is just demoralising. As the scales have told me every day for two weeks, I'm 10 stone 2 and need to lose 7 pounds to be a healthy weight again, so I'm not expecting great losses every week as it's not a lot to shift.0
