Why Can't Myfitnesspal get it's act together???

Have had problems for over a week getting my Garmin to sync with app. Garmin syncs just fine with SparkPeople. And the app takes forever to open and often the website doesn't open. Tech support just apologizes and says "they're working on it." Is it every going to get fixed? I've been a user since 2013 and hate to switch, but this is ridiculous!
