Calorie Intake

I just want to know if my calorie intake is too low or too high. .any suggestions on how to figure this out?

    Yes. I have a sure fire way to figure this out. If you are gaining fat, your calorie intake is too high (or you need to burn more). If you are maintaining your current fat level, your calorie intake is still too high (basing this on your profile stating you have 30+ more lbs to lose). If you are losing fat and generally feeling ok, you are probably in the zone.

    Log everything. Weigh and measure your food as much as possible. Make the necessary adjustments along the way. MFP, someone else, or any number of websites can give you a target estimate, but it really comes down to experience, trial, error, correct, and repeating.

    There are a lot of calculators around the internet, and a lot on this website.

    If you put in your current height, weight, and age, it can give you a pretty good idea of what you need to consume calorie wise.

    This website will help you calculate your TDEE, the number you get is what you'd maintain your current weight on. If you make a 500 calorie cut from that, you will lose 1lb per week.
