Should I track sugar or fiber?

I was wondering because it doesn't seem like sugar is very important in weight loss, or am I wrong? Or should I track something entirely different? I want to continue tracking fat, sodium, carbs, and protein though.

large amounts of suar, even in the form of fruit, WILL hold you back from weight loss. It really has to be a balance. I could help you out if you need some guidance0

sugar, especially corn syrup and any added sugar will turn into fat pretty quickly, so it really doesn't help with weight loss. So it's not completely necessary to track it but it'll definitely help you out.0
