How long does it take for water weight to go?

I ate 151 g of carbs the day before yesterday, while normally I ate 80 or maximum 95. I seem to have put on weight (a pound). How long till this goes away? (I'm drinking 12 glass of water a day)

A pound would be considered a normal fluctuation - don't sweat it!1

Water weight comes and goes due to such factors as salt consumption, hormonal changes, exercise intensity, weather (heat & humidity), etc. You can't totally control it. One pound is far too little to worry about in the total scheme of things.4

You've already posted at least 2 other threads about a tiny increase in weight (a fluctuation, NOT fat gain) and water weight. You need to be more relaxed about this, weight will always go up and down, back and forth. It's virtually impossible to have one static weight or only see it go down.
I encourage you to go back and read the thread about weight fluctuations again, because you have to find a way to accept this mentally as normal human body behaviour. Otherwise, it's going to drive you crazy.9
