I just made my own peanut butter donuts from scratch and they were the best damn donuts I have made. Best part---donut only 161 calories plain. Chocolate raspberry glaze 26 calories per donut :) You can make which ever glaze you want or leave out the peanut butter if you prefer but I have made it without PB 3 times before and these were the absolute best ones i've made.

Peanut Butter Donuts ( makes 6 ) (double ingredients for a dozen. It may make some of the measurements easier)

Preheat oven to 425.

Mix together:

I cup flour, sifted: 440 calories
3/8 granulated sugar: 180 calories
1 teaspoon baking powder 0
1/2 teaspoon salt 0

Add to above mixture:

3/8 cup buttermilk 80 cal
1 egg, lightly beaten 70 cal
1 tablespoon butte, melted 100 calories
1/2 teaspoon almond extract, 6 calories
1 tablespoon peanut butter, lightly melted 95 calories

Total calories divided by 6 donuts is 161.

dough/ batter is thick. Cook in donut pan, lightly sprayed with non-stick spray at 425 degrees for 9 minutes. Let cool 5 minutes and remove from donut tray. Donuts should slide out once pan is turned upside down.

Dark chocolate raspberry Glaze: ( this should glaze 12 donuts so you will have some left over. I didn't think halving the calories would work with making the glaze. I refrigerated the rest)

combine in a small pan on medium heat until berries become jell-like and start bubbling

10 raspberries 10 calories
3 teaspoons water

Add:
30 grams semi sweet chocolate chips 140 calories
1/4 skim milk: 27
1 teaspoon brown sugar 15 calories

heat until chocolate is melted. Add 1/4 cup powdered sugar 120 calories. Stir until mixture starts to thicken. ( It does not get very thick. You can add more chocolate, less milk, and more powdered sugar if you want a thick coating. I did it this way for less calories. It still tastes really good.)

312 calories for whole mixture. 26 calories per donut.

Im a little tired so you may want to recheck my math but I think I added right :)
