I usually have a sandwich everyday for lunch. If any members have a sandwich most days, would you mind if I added you as a friend. I need new sandwich ideas.
Thanks

I like sandwiches for lunch too. Flatout wraps are a favorite. I typically don't go the recipe route, but lots of ideas below.

Mmmm.....tuna, green apple salad. Haven't done that one in awhile.

    I’m unexciting.

It’s either BLT, chicken sausage in a piece of bread (lower calorie than using a bun and tastes just the same), or my favorite: pan fried prosciutto with melted Swiss cheese and spinach on toasted bread.

There’s a brand of bread called Lewis Bake Shop Healthy Life White which is 35 cal a slice. No HFC, tastes just like Sunbeam and the like, just sliced thinner. I can totally live with thinner slices if I can have the satisfaction of eking two sandwiches out of my lunch allotment.

I don't do friends here. But I simple eat bread the central/western European way: get two slices of good bread, maybe butter, then put on whatever I have: meat products, cheese or a spread. Doesn't need to be complicated to be yummy and filling.

    I like the following:

Avocado, tomato, cottage cheese (salt and pepper) on a really good multi-grain bread (e.g., La Brea)

Lettuce, tomato, avocado, and hummus on multi-grain bread or a ciabatta roll (sometimes I like a slice or two of cheddar and a little mayo instead of the hummus)

Cream cheese and olive on pumpernickel or good rye

Cheese and and dill pickle slices

Jersey Mike's veggie sandwich or a similar homemade sandwich

Skippy Naturals Super Chunk Peanut Butter (no jelly)

Falafel, lettuce, tomato, tzatziki on a pita bread

P.S. I just made myself very hungry! 😋
