1st week big gain

Hi
I have just come off Slimming World and completed my 1st week here, 3 days I went over on sugars (to much fruit), 2 days over on protein and a couple on sodium the rest were under, I have gained 6.5 pounds :( any suggestions please?

    Are you using a food scale and logging everything that you eat? Have you recently started a new exercise program? I've also heard some women will see an increase near there cycle, but I don't have one of those, so no real insight.

    Were you over on your calories? I would guess a lot of it is water weight. You can't possibly have gained 6.5 lbs of fat in one week. That would be thousands of calories over your maintenance calories. Have you just started exercising? It could be water weight from starting a new exercise routine, or if you were over on sodium, it could be water retention from that.
