How shame almost kept me from trying again!

I was at 227 after being 263 then covid-19 and my hypothyroidism strikes at the same time! Back up to 257 and cringing every time I see myself. When my thyroid hormone goes low it causes my metabolism to tank, takes my energy, will spiral me into a depression, and then the food cravings become completely unbearable to withstand! Anyhow, day 2 pushed myself to get out and walk and saw myself in a window and as the shame hit I wanted to go home and hide. I told myself don't look, just don't look as I pass a few building's windows, then it hit me, LOOK, look at yourself and let it push you to keep going! KEEP GOING! Everything good is going to take effort and drive both of which I tend to be lackadaisical with, please check in and encourage me and call me out if needed!

Its hard figuring out which type of criticism or encouragement you need on a daily basis, glad you are figuring out how to hack yourself to pump that motivation!1
