Any dietary changes that have improved your psoriasis?
Luck with AIP diet?
Struggled for many years and is now worsening.....
I understand steroid usage and stress reduction but am looking specifically at diet changes now.

My mom has had really terrible psoriasis for many years, unresponsive to creams, steroids, or medication.

She started going to this chiropractor (MFP *don’t call in the woo brigade I’m just telling you what she did*), more for her scoliosis but you know he’s also a “naturopath”. Anyway, he has her doing five things, and whatever I think of chiropractors and naturopaths, some combination of those things cleared up the psoriasis in 3 weeks. She had big, raised scaly plaques over most of her legs and arms, and now her skin is completely smooth, and it’s slowly returning to skin color.

Unfortunately she didn’t follow my advice to introduce them one at a time to see what actually helps - but the five things are:

    1) Liquid turmeric 1/2 tsp twice a day
    2) Uva-Ursi (which I think is a bear berry extract?) 1/2 tsp twice a day
    3) Cut out dairy
    4) Limit or eliminate added sugar (she probably hasn’t been 100% compliant here)
    5) Cut out gluten (she has another autoimmune condition that gluten can exacerbate; she’s not 100% here either but has dramatically reduced gluten).

Anyway, hopefully one or more of these things can help you, good luck.

Thanks so much for your reply. It confirmed a few things for me.
I have read numerous articles about gluten and autoimmune diseases.
I have started this and began eliminating sugar.
    Hey will try the supplements.
Thanks so much. I appreciate it!!
And good for your mom !
