Hello my name is amber im 29 and pregnant with my 6th baby. It was completely unplanned but i recently ended depo due to constant bleeding and was waiting for the bleeding to stop to get an iud. Well i have an 11,8,6,2 and 1 year old. I weighed 337 after by 5th and 240 before my 4th so as you can see i had a tremendous weight gain in that time and developed plantar fasciitis which made walking very difficult. Well i got down to 266 prior to getting pregnant and need to know if anyone has lost weight and had a healthy pregnancy? Obviously i wont starve but im so worried of moving backwards and getting plantar fasciitis again after it recently going away after weight loss. Nothing a podiatrist did could help it. The only thing that did was losing weight and i know it will develop again if i dont lose a little weight this time to stay away from that high bmi. Also looking for female friends on here and if anyone else needs help or support on here i can help you. I really want someone to talk to about this pregnancy as my husband hasnt accepted it yet because he didnt want anymore children

Welcome to MFP and congratulations on your impending bundle of joy!
I found this thread for calorie counting while pregnant extremely useful, and easy to understand:

I also enjoy participating in the fit, fabulous, and pregnant group. The other ladies were fun to talk to and very supportive of one another.

General advice is typically to not attempt to lose weight while pregnant, but if overweight you may choose to try to maintain your current weight throughout the pregnancy and not gain. Make sure to discuss this plan with your doctor and see if it if right for you.
Plantar fascitis is no fun! I find wearing supportive shoes (even around the house) and using a spiked ball to roll my feet helps keep them comfortable. If you have high arches arch support inserts may help as well. I know its intimidating to possibly face it again, but try to stay positive! You may not struggle with it, and if you do hopefully you can keep it temporary. Pregnancy is only 9 months and you can jump back into weight loss after you deliver and heal, if needed.

I would definitely agree that your doctor would be your first port of call. Only because we don't know you and don't know if you have any other health conditions or how any of your previous pregnancies were and stuff.
When I was pregnant I had to increase my levothyroxine i was taking. I panicked about the baby when they said my levels were low. But the way they put it was that the baby will take everything it needs, and whatever is left is for me, so if I didn't have enough or nothing at all it would be me feeling the side effects.
So i personally think you could safely eat at maintenance or a slight decrease of calories BUT you would have to ask your doctor what would be a safe deficit (if any at all).
So any advice you get from MFP, friends, family or google. Always consult your doctor first.
Good luck on baby number 6!!!0
