How to "re-feed"?

I've never had this issue before and I'm starting to get concerned. I had a major emotional/life upheaval about a week and a half ago. I was stressed, heartbroken, basically emotionally in shambles. I lost my appetite (which tends to happen when I'm stressed) but it hasn't come back. It isn't a simple "i don't feel hungry", I legit feel nauseous thinking about food or putting it near my mouth. The few times I've been able to force something down, I've felt like crap for an hour afterwards. In the past, after a few days I was able to resume eating normally with no issues. Now it's been over a week and I am really worried. I have tried different things, bland things, unhealthy things in the event to get SOMETHING down. This morning I was able to eat half an english muffin with peanut butter but that was all. I have been trying to supplement with meal replacement shakes, mainly because I'm concerned about the toll my body is taking without proper nutrition.

I know this kind of sounds ridiculous but I'm at a dead end. Does anyone have experience like this or suggestions? **I have started seeing a therapist to help with the emotional issues, and I feel like my emotional health is improving, but the physical part is not getting better.**

Thank you!!

Honestly I really wouldn’t worry too much at this point. Eat what you can and give yourself some time. Unless you are already quite underweight a few weeks of very low calories isn’t the end of the world.

The human body is an amazing thing and your body can cope for a bit with very little food while you get on more stable ground. Sounds like stressing about eating is something you can do without.

You need to speak to a GP to deal with any underlying reasons including psychological. Fasting for over a week is very unhealthy.
