Would like to design MFP for plant based diet/lifestyle

Are you not able to log your foods following a plant based diet? What sorta design are you looking for?1

Eatthismuch.com (Free meal planner, pick "vegan" and your calorie level to see sample menus & such - if you dig into the site deeper, you can fine-tune macros and that sort of thing)
I'm not vegan, I'm ovo-lacto vegetarian (46 years now), so I would not be a good vegan coach. I hope you're not going vegan purely to lose weight (because it's not in any way magical for that - there are fat vegans, too), or to be healthy (because veganism is not inherently healthier than omnivory - either one can be healthy or unhealthy).
Do I use eatthismuch? No. I don't like structure or rules. I do what's in the link below, and did it all the way through 50+ pounds of weight loss, and 4+ years of maintenance since:

There is no special set of tips for the vegan MFP user - it works the same for everyone. If you share what's you're struggling with, I may be able to help. I've been vegan for about thirteen years and using MFP for five.3
