Was wondering why 'Coffee With Sugar and Milk - Coffee, 1 cup" shows that it has 20g of protein! How can that be possible. I entered the above info in my food diary and that is what showed up.

thank you. yeah that makes more sense! and yet 20g of protein in a cup of coffee does seem rather farfetched!

and just to see if milk could be the reason, I added a cup of whole milk and it showed 8g of protein only! Something is wrong somewhere

Again, many many many of the entries are wrong in MFP. I manually enter if needed, but sometimes things are only off by maybe 1 carb or 2 calories and then I don’t worry about it. I ALWAYS check though to make sure they are right or at least seem reasonably possible.

Many people put protein powder in their coffee. Especially Keto people.

You already got the answers above, I just thought I'd expand.

When you go to add a food, a Nutrition Box will pop up after you have chosen it from the list. In that box is a green button that says "Nutrition Info" - click that and it will show the amounts. It will say, "Is this data accurate?" You can then say (click) "No" and edit it if you want, and if you do it will then be listed in your MY FOODS.

Thank you for explaining how to edit entries, I have seen it mentioned on here multiple times over the months but never could figure out how to do it (can’t say I searched too hard, just made a new entry if needed, but editing would be easier!)

Yes. That makes sense. I sometimes do double check from other nutrition website!
