Cut or Bulk?

I have a hard time deciding whether or not I should lose more weight or gain muscle. I've had an eating disorder in the past (don't worry, for the most part I'm good now lol) so I don't really have a good idea of if I'm small, large, medium, y'know. My friends and family say bulk, but I think it's because they're afraid I'll go back to my old habits, but I know I'll be alright cause I'm done with hating myself!
