anyone have issues with HRM during Shred?

I just did Jillkian Michael's 30 day shred with my HRM and it wasn't picking up on my heart rate properly while i was doing the Abs circuits. Anyone else have a similar issue? I know it wasn't reading right because as soon as I stood back up my heart rate was back up around 120s from 80s while doing the Abs.....there is no way standing up would increase my HR that quickly, LOL! Maybe the strap isn't flush against my skin enough while I'm lying down??? :huh:

    do you hav a chest strap? Mine picked up fine. But it has the watch and chest strap.

    When you're doing ab work, you're laying on the ground and essentially "resting" your body w/the exception of your abs compared to when you're up and moving during the strength and cardio portions of 30DS, that's why your HR will drop and go back up. It's normal and happens to me every time (my HRM gets angry and buzzes at me :laugh: )
