Mesh lined swim trunks

Is it just me or are these designed by Satan himself? From an early age I remember hating wearing these and the discomfort. I've been a board shorts dude ever since. It's the summer here so just wondering what other guys think about this and what your swim attire preference is.

    I have both and love both. My swim trunks with the mesh in it are made by chubbies. The most comfortable swim trunks I’ve ever owned. Little pricey but worth every penny.

    I've considered purchasing a pair but now I'm reluctant knowing thus.
