Greetings Everyone,

I am 41. I am also a Author, Singer/Songwriter, and all around...well...person I suppose. So why am I here?

I was put on Paxil for anxiety. Since then I was thrown on Lexapro and then Viibryd. I had weight gain which is a listed side effect of SSRI Meds...BUT to be sure, I will manage intakes and workout more before pulling the plug on the medication. I never needed to watch what I ate..worked out all the time...time will tell.

    Sorry to hear about the meds weight gain. I had the same thing happen, but I didn't know that the meds did it until Ia few years had gone by and I had gained a lot. A dietician finally told me. If your meds are like mine they slow certain things in the brain and as a side effect slow the metabolism. Just keep the faith, you can do it!
