Mental Heath, anyone?...

Anyone out there who struggles with their mental health? I have borderline personality disorder which can make my mood, emotions, behaviours, anxieties and motivation- incredibly variable. It's something that I am in control of for the most part as I was diagnosed 20 years ago, so have learned some strong coping techniques! but there's always that little spark inside me that can influence my day (for the good or bad!) and when I'm up- I'm UP! 💥 But I can come down quickly (and go back up just as quickly!) depending on pretty much anything and everything. I keep myself grounded with work, family, socialising (lots) and coming here every day to soak up the sunshine and motivation from my amazing 'fit fam' (some people are genuinely amazing 💕) I've not had a great day today, on the way down from days of 'high'. So I thought I'd come here to say, if you struggle with your mental health, or in any way at all really! free to add someone who understands ☺️ and if you read this and think "what a complete loser" good luck with your everything anyway! ☺️✨

I am a therapist and I wrote a women's specific program for an inpatient hospital using DBT methodology. If you haven't looked into it I really suggest it. The founder of DBT had BDP and was able to really pinpoint the skills that someone with this diagnosis responds to.4

Hello! Nice to meet you! I’m glad to hear you’re managing your symptoms 💜 I also struggle with body dysmorphic disorder and OCD, which makes dieting and stuff very touchy for me because I tend to become obsessive. I totally understand how you feel! Let’s support each other!!1

Hi! I deal with generalized anxiety disorder with a dash of depression for some extra flavor. My husband was also recently diagnosed with BPD and he is not yet managing things very well. Its been very difficult so it is so wonderful to hear that you have found some strategies that help you manage.2

Hello everyone! I have bipolar and anxiety disorder bother managed with meds. Took a very long time to find the right combination of meds but recently found the right ones and am finally able to live a normal life. Any of you are welcome to add me.3

I am easily frustrated and have issues controlling my emotions. I have never been diagnosed with anything because I have never been able to afford going to someone to be diagnosed.
Now I keep a journal of my slip ups and try to work on it on my own every day.
