Lipoma went walkabout

Oh great! I complained a while ago that I would have some deep-seated lipomas removed from my ankles if there wasn't such a big risk of even more ankle instability and nerve damage. Well, some time this week I noticed part of my heel was numb. Then found out part of my calf as well, and so is the area below that ugly ankle. Oh, but the lipoma is gone! Where to though? I just found it back I think: I have a 3x3cm lipoma on top/side of my middle foot, about 4cm away from where the lipoma originally sat, right on top of a nerve that supplies the affected areas
In a way this new arrangement is good as my ankle suddenly isn't hypermobile anymore, thus walking is a lot easier, and my upper calf muscles for once don't hurt in the evening from being overstretched all the time. But yeah, I'm in pain and have a big numb area. Scans on Monday. Who knew lipomas can walk to a new location?!? Anyway, this certainly means no sport for a bit, and ... not sure what to do with regards to shoes.

I had to google lipoma to find out what one is but now I know I can say it sounds like a bummer having it on your foot. I hope you can figure out a solution.0

Oh no! Sorry you’re dealing with this. Plantar fasciitis was awful for me, so feet are critical!
These are incredibly comfortable and forgiving.

The price seems extravagant for what you get at first glance, but they last forever, and are machine washable/quickly air dry.
I wear the ones with the little metal charm, and also the ballet slippers. Very versatile- I walk in them, and wear them with nicer clothes at my volunteer front desk gig.0 -

Thanks a lot.
If you have such problematic feet as me you need to try on every pair of shoes, and ordering online is not possible at all. Plus everything I'd order from the US would at least be twice as expensive due to shipping, import duty and taxes, and handling fees. But I appreciate your thought. The problem is more that the upper part of my foot hurts, thus where pretty much all shoes make sure you're not losing them. When you roll off your foot there's extra pressure there which currently is very unpleasant. I could wear flipflops, but it's too cold, and they aren't suitable for cycling. Oh well, scans tomorrow.1
