Hi can somebody please offer some advice.
I am from the UK and know of plain flour self raising flour and wheat flour.
However what is whole flour, whole wheat flour, all purpose flour.
May seem stupid but trying checking in my supermarket and that just blew my mind as to how many types of flour there is lol
Thanks for any advice

The USA's "all purpose flour" is what we would call plain flour.1

Never heard of whole flour. Whole wheat flour is just that. Made of the whole grain, it is more coarse, has a nuttier flavor, and makes a different textured product. All purpose flour just means plain old flour, to use for everything that doesn’t specify any special flour.2
