Seniors weight loss

Hi I'm fairly new to mfp, I'm 70 years old, working on losing weight to help lower blood pressure and bring my A1C and fasting sugar down to normal. I started working out on a total gym three days a week last October. I am over weight by 35lbs and I'm struggling to lose weight. I've been on a 1200 calories diet and avoiding junk food and pasta and potatoes since May. I started walking one mile a day two weeks ago, but no difference yet, anyone have any advice that can help? Thanks guys

    Hi Bob. Try RH Fitness on Facebook. Not particularly senior, but I've found it very good (only 2 weeks in). Language can be a bit ripe - so only if you're okay with that 😉 X
