Sweet Sweat... here we go...

Okay so I KNOW waist trainers do nothing more than get rid of water weight and that they are not ridding of actual fat but I am a mom of 4 and all were cesareans. I have a large kangaroo pouch and when I work out it jiggles a lot. Would a waist trainer help someone like me not only control my belly movement during exercise but also help my skin elasticity while I loose weight by having it bonded? Also please I am not looking for judgmental retorts about waist trainers in general.

I don't know enough about waist trainers to give any real insight, but I've had a cesarean. What seems to help me is wearing compression or a snug fit leggings. Something a little more high waisted. It helps me feel more secure, and most don't rub against my scar. Its been over 2 years, but it still feels weird when touched. Try to keep your weight loss slow and steady might help some with the skin elasticity.3

I've heard waist trainers actually weaken the back by restricting your waist/ab movement in general so I imagine that correlates to exercise. I would get some high waisted workout pants when working out that secures extra fat but doesn't restrict ab muscle movement. I've had 1 c section and man it's still weird 2 years later! I love my Popfit leggings. Hope you find a solution babe.5

There is some excellent tummy control yoga pants out there.
As a still fat girl also not wanting to jiggle, i found some great ones by lithings, on amazon.3 -
Following this thread as I've had 2 csections and will need some info once I start working out more regularly (currently just working on my food relationship as I get started with this lifestyle change)3

I have a sweet sweat waist trainer. I got it bc I wanted to sweat more, not that I thought it would shrink my waist. However, I stopped using it. I would normally do my cardio then weights. When I would do squats, the movement would shift the waist trainer bc of the trapped sweat, and it would leak. So it literally looked like I peed on the floor!
For having the pooch, I do think it would keep your belly from jiggling while you do cardio. I don’t think it would do anything for elasticity tho.3 -
I’ve had 2 csections and my pooch was literally the length of my index finger and I was convinced I would need surgery to remove it.
I’ve counted calories and walked for almost 2 months, lost 16 pounds (halfway to my first goal) and I realized today that my pooch is now only hanging down to my second knuckle, so it is about an inch smaller! I still may need surgery eventually, but I hope it will be a lot better when I lose another 15 pounds.
Anyway, I have no experience with the trainers but I’ve not had any issues with giggling as I walk, so maybe try that instead?5
