Favorite store for clothes shopping?
As I lose weight, I'm finding clothes shopping is becoming fun again. :drinker: I'm 29 (so definitely out of the junior department but not yet ready to shop in the old lady section), a preschool teacher (aka I spend my days covered in snot and finger paint so no fancy dresses and heels), and I think a scarf pretty much completes any outfit. I really like Maurices and picked up a few things there yesterday. I need to get some more cute things to go back to work next week. Just wondering-- where are some of YOUR favorite places to get new digs?

I'm really a fan of idea having some basic items of high quality from good brands and other pieces can be pretty cheap.
I mean good pants, a pencil skirt, little black dress, a suit, white shirt, a nice coat. These items got to be perfect, well tailored. Also good leather shoes and a bag, also good scarves and shawls.
I don't do shopping too much, once, twice a year mostly.
Other things can be from Zara, Banana Republic and etc. though Zara in Europe is a pretty good store. Be aware of buying too much crap, that crazy consumerism isn't good when it comes to clothes, you don't want to have a closet full of cheap clothes and faux leather bags, when you could've spend your money better and have less clothes but higher quality.
I'd recommend going to large department stores to see the big options, like Macy's, Bloomingdales, Neiman Marcus and etc.0 -
I'm 43 .. many things I buy so far have been juniors.
I like Kohls, a place that is in the West Coast ..
Fred Meyers. Do you have a Buffalo Exchange?
I plan to head there once I'm in maintenance. If
you haven't heard of them, it's a designer Resell
place .. decent prices. High end designers are
over priced so I'm excited to go there.0 -
