Would you maintain a healthy weight if no one was watching? For example, if you lived alone and worked remotely with very little contact with people save for a visit now and then from the mailperson, would you even bother to look good for yourself? I ask this because I find it easier to stick to my diet when my roommate is around, but when I am all alone at home, it is a tortorous battle to deny myself a very indulgent meal (ordered in of course). I am winning that battle during my alone so far by the way, but I would much rather be around people when I am trying to lose weight, which is why I prefer to make meals or order in when my roommate is around.

You may fit into the people pleaser category, it's a very subconscious thing but I find it hard to stick to goals if people aren't doing it with me or if I don't tell anyone about the goals. However yes I think I would lose weight because I want my body to look good in general and I want to feel better1
