Cheap, *accurate* scale?

Anyone know the best (affordable! $30ish?) scale available? Brick and mortar or online ordering is fine. I'm so tired of my crappy bathroom scale giving me different readings every time I step on, or shift my weight forward or backwards. Makes it difficult to accurately track my progress.
Thanks, and sorry if this is addressed in one of the FAQ threads - I did read them before posting.

hehe, cheap, accurate scale. Talk about a contradiction in terms.0

Try your local sporting good store. I got one at Academy for like $20.0

I have a Weight Watchers/Conair Scale, it's digital and it seems to be very accurate and about $30-$40 (I caught mine on sale).0

I just bought this a couple of weeks ago and I am very impressed

In case the link doesn't work, it's the EatSmart Precision Premium Digital Bathroom Scale with 3.5" LCD and "Step-On" Technology from Amazon. I have found it to be very accurate and more importantly, it's consistent..0 -
The reviews on this scale look to be very good. Better than many other reviews I have read.I just bought this a couple of weeks ago and I am very impressed

Looks like that Eatsmart scale can be had at walmart, too. I'll probably order it on amazon though, it'll come before my next weigh in that way. Just about the right price, too0

I got mines at Wal-mart for about $18. Healthometer, its a digital scale. Works great!0

Thanks for the tip! I just ordered mine from Amazon. It was only 35 bucks, and it ships free. The only drawback is that it was on backorder, but after reading the reviews, I figured it'd be worth the wait0

I had a digital one form walmart and it always was messed up. I ended up with two old fashion ones. They work great adn I figure even if its not accurate on the weight it is showing weight loss so teh weight loss is accurate. get what Im saying. Either way Ive lost 30 lbs even if my scale is telling me Im 5 lbs lighter then I actually am since the starting weight would be 5 lbs lighter too.
Thats my thinking anyways and im gonna keep it lol0 -
Thanks for starting this discussion. I was looking for a new bathroom scale (preferably one that does not weigh about 7 lbs lighter than the one in my doctor's office!)0

You might check out your local thrift shops. I bought a balancing scale (like doctor's offices have, except not quite that tall) for $14 at Goodwill. A TOPS group I belonged to several years ago had one and if I remember correctly it cost around $80 - even at that time. I tried a digital scale at one time and it read differently every time I stepped on it.0

I have a Conair "Thinner" digital scale. It always weights me the same, except it is 5 pounds lighter than the doctor's scale. I want a new one but my husband said that all scales have problems. I don't care about extra features. I just want something that is accurate. Money is not an object, as long as the scale is correct.0
