medical success story

when I started out on this journey, 4th Jan '13, I'd just had some blood tests done which showed high levels of cholesterol, high readings of triglycerides, & fat related poor liver function tests (lft's)

I've just had them done again,

- total cholesterol, down from 5.6 to 3.94 (normal)
- (bad) LDL cholesterol down from 5.0 to 2.19 (normal)
- (good) HDL cholesterol up from 0.6 to 1.45 (normal)

Renal (kidney) profile, - "Normal"

LFT (Liver) - "Normal"

Serum triglycerides - down from 2.73 to 0.66 (normal)

apart from the kind of obvious goal of weight loss, about which I'm very pleased, I'm now excited that eating & drinking the right things has proved so successful in bringing all my body function readings down to normal levels.

keep the faith & stick to your Macronutrient goals folks, it works!!
