How do I send Friend Requests on here?

I've clicked on usernames but can't see what else to do, lol.

I've been too long on Facebook where it seems easier.

    You were close to it! You need to click on their username twice before you see the option to add them. On the app it will be a little person with a plus sign in the bottom right of the icon and the website has an actual button that says "add as friend".
