Addiction and Habits ?

We all have them bad or good
My question is how long does it take to form an addiction?
How many days of consistency does it take to form a habit?
I've went 17 days of row daily walking back in 2016 ... I've went 11 days straight of no meat eating back in 2015 , After 9 plus years spent majority catfishing I went from July 1st of 2019 to April 2020 of no catfishing or stealing others images than I fell back into darkness ... I' seriously want to know how many days it takes to form a habit or have a daily routine in automated system ? I understand we are all different but at least give me general consensus . It's been 29 days of no catfishing aka stealing pics and most importantly no main Social media accounts ... the urges and lust is there but somehow by skin of my teeth lol I've survived without ... I've went 7 months without Facebook on yearly basis but I've never cut off social media cold turkey all together
Self control and discipline goes a long way ... I've shown glimpses or previews of it

The 21 day thing is mostly a myth.
Honeymoon Phase
Fight Like Hail Phase aka Fight Through Phase
Second Nature Phase
Our mileage will always vary. We are seldom the same. The only thing I'm going to address is weight releasing because alcoholism, gambling, shopping, social media and the rest of the addictions may become coaddictions after a major weight releasing. It happens.
Now then. The Honeymoon Phase is always the best. After that, comes the fight like hail phase. The body may not stop fighting against you for at least 2 years after a major amount of weight is released. Much of this stuff is mental. It's the brain that's the drain for following through with our exercise and weight management goals.
Do you know how many people are actually standing at the 5 year mark with weight stability. Those stats are low, so low that you'll have to do your own research. Just writing it out makes me kinda sad. I know we all want to reach our dream weight but you're going to have to muster UP all of the courage and guts and willingness to fight for yourself and keep fighting every single day until it becomes your reality.
This isn't working for me. Isn't there something else I can do. I want my money and my results now. This is the brain baby fit phase which goes on and on and on. The brain doesn't want any changes whatsoever. The brain wants to remain the same on the plains, planes, trains and automobiles. The brain doesn't actually care if you ever make any changes in your life.
Do you want to go out like that? Do you want to end up at the end of life looking backwards with regrets about all of the missed opportunities. Noooooo. I'm not going out like that. I'm a fighter and I come by it naturally. I'm fighting for my life because no and I mean no one can do any of this for you.
Doing what we've always done will get us what we've always gotten. That would be mostly nothin'. Dig down deep into your innermost being and let it begin to lead you. Your heart has the answers, answers, answers that the brain refuses to look at and deal with.4 -

Absolutely.
Mr. Bee Wonderful
This is your brain on nature. Take it back outside. Walk as far as you can go and then come back home again. Start there and increase distance as you keep tooling along. When we take it all back outside we do our overstressed brains a big favor. When we're multi-tasking all of the time our brains are prone to mistakes. Sooo many distractions on social media/cell phones.
The antidote is nature. Our three pound brains are easily fatigued. Taking it back outside is a mental windshield. It recalibrates all of our senses. The early evening sun on the red canyon walls or simply going for a walk even in the concrete jungle helps you forget about social media.
Just let your mind wander by watching a meandering river flow gently by. Ten minutes of restful contemplation by going for a walk will do you wonders, Mr. Bee Wonderful.
