Just Went from Keto diet to Low carb Diet for cutting

I recently lost over 40lbs on a strict Keto OMAD diet for the last 5 months. I am currently at about 235 and looking to get down to 215 while on a low carb cutting diet. Does this switch from keto to low carb in such a short amount of time have any draw backs? I have been feeling great with a lot more energy but i feel as though i may gain some unwanted lbs on my journey to cutting. I put in about 30 minutes of cardio and a little over an hour of strength training 5 days a week. Any one have any thoughts on this? I feel i should be fine but i just wanted to make sure i was doing this the proper way. Any advice is very welcome

    Any time you switch your carb intake there is going to be some water weight swings. How much? No way to know.

    Unless you stayed on keto indefinitely you would have had that happen at some point. Just carry on and try to not get too attached to your weight for the next month.

    What are your goals preside of weight loss? What does your lifting program look like?



    If you increase carbs, especially fiber, there might be a little bloating.
