Here are two labels from two cans of salmon - same company/exactly the same product....except one states 1/4 cup = 55 grams for 110 calories...the other one states: 1/3 cup = 55 grams for 110 calories.

Yes!! A very good example!
I bought a 1lb bag of frozen breakfast mix stuff - potatoes, peppers, onion, and sausage. Serving size is listed as something like 1c/255g. The grams I believe to be accurate (2 servings per bag), but there is NO WAY 1c is anywhere close to volume. I need to measure it out tomorrow, but one serving covered my medium size plate, in a small pile. I ended up sharing some with hubby.0
