Fasting for medical reasons... managing fitness and calories?

I am 5’4”, 145lbs. Trying to mentally plan out the next week or so. Brief background because I know that for some responses it will make a difference. Currently holding onto a minimal deficit (set for .5lb/week, but will go over some days. Within 5 lbs of goal weight), some days/weeks it’s more maintenance. This summer I have had a huge increase in activity including multiple sprint tris and working through a half marathon training plan so there are times when my body just needs more, and I go with it (have been hovering in the same 2-3 lb range for a month or two, then a mini-whoosh this past week of a pound or two).
Anyway, I have a colonoscopy this week (thanks to a near miss with cancer in 2018 I am on the annual plan). Likely polyps will be removed, and my paperwork says no running for a week after if so. I am OK skipping a training run or two, but I know me, and if I break out of my habit/routine too far I am at risk of losing all progress. Juggling both tris and training is getting more complicated so I did my sprint this weekend and have so far skipped my weekly long run (I figured the 5k leg could count for my weekly relaxed run). I have a 9 mile combo scheduled (2 mi relaxed, 3 mi race pace, 2 mi relaxed). Next week is 11 miles. Argh.
Tuesday is prep day (liquid diet), Wednesday is procedure (mid morning so it will be after lunch before I eat anything... May or may not have an appetite). I can run tomorrow but am afraid I will be miserably hungry Tuesday and Wednesday with that high of a calorie burn. Should I load up today to prep? Then load up further tomorrow since there will be two days of very low calories? Just say forget it for now and see how I feel next week?
Probably WAY overthinking things, but I don’t want this hiccup to totally derail my progress (this time last year I was struggling through another round of C25K). Also mentally foggy thanks to what I can only say is a “caffeine hangover” from some seriously jacked up coffee yesterday.

If it were me getting a colonoscopy, I would not to load up calories. I have had two so far in my life and the cleaning out of the insides is not fun. The less you have to get out of you the better. It is some miserable kitten. When you get back from your procedure and are feeling better, you can rock that exercise again. Hugs4

Really bummed. Wishing I could knock it out tonight, but I don’t think my body would be too happy with back to back high output days. I guess I could at least do a couple/few miles so it’s not a total waste.2 -
2 days should not derail progress. Do your normal stuff tomorrow. On Tues try to get the Calories via the liquid/soft diet as best you can. Wed afternoon you can eat a normal meal Perhaps light exercise on Thursday depending on how you feel. It’s not fun, but you will get through it! Good job taking care of yourself.
Hope you’re having fun with your tris this summer. Have you had any “real” ones or just virtual?2 -

No real tris, just virtual. My first was scheduled for April, then moved to October, who knows if it will happen. Unfortunately it’s the same weekend as my first half marathon, a local race with incredible history - running through civil war battle fields and a national park. Tough course though. Half is Saturday, Tri is Sunday so technically possible, I just might wreck my body for a little while (the hills of the half are most concerning for DOMS). Originally I was just going to defer the October race to next spring and not worry about it, but it ended up being that this summer has been a celebration of what my body can still do, things I never thought I would be capable of again. I am totally ordering the series plaque for the Tris because, surprise!, I think I only have one left to complete it! (6 in the series). It’s a wooden display box for all of the medals. I didn’t go to each location so it feels like cheating, but I have to remind myself that neither did anyone else.
ETA: that was embarrassingly long... I am wordy by nature, but guess I am just excited.
