Anyone have advice on healthy food to increase my immune system. On 5th week suffering from Covid. Walked the block and thought I was going to die (900 steps with mask away from any other soul). I’m getting scared to be out of quarantine next week. I’m not sure if my body can handle even walking into an office. Need a strong healthy cheap recipe

Unfortunately, many reports are indicating that recovering from COVID-19 can be a lengthy process for some people and there doesn't seem to be a food that can shortcut that process.
For your immune system, you want to make sure you're eating a variety of foods that are meeting your nutritional needs. If you're currently in a deficit, this is a time to make it really moderate or even just eat to maintain (to avoid additional stress on your body). Limit/eliminate alcohol and try to get plenty of sleep. If you aren't eating several servings of fruits and vegetables a day, this would be a time to try to get them (and they don't have to be fresh or especially expensive -- even things like frozen fruits and vegetables will count). None of these things are going to magically boost your immune system, but they will help support it while your body does the work of healing.6 -
Hope you feel much better soon!!!
PP had good advice, just focus on the healthiest foods that you'll eat, lots or protein, fruits/veggies, whole grains, lots of water, good basic nutrition. And if things don't taste good at the moment, to you, try smoothies/shakes filled with frozen fruits and plain yogurt.1
