I am 5’9, 51 years old, and back on my weight loss journey. I wear a size 14 and have lots of curves. Working out twice a day and journaling my food for awareness 😊 Will add weights when I go below 200.
SW: 236
CW: 222
GW: 175
TBH-my first goal is to be under 200 pounds. I think this may be very doable with my current calorie intake of 1,500 calories per day. I just need to remember TO HAVE PATIENCE...

You are doing great!
Im 5'10". I was so happy when I got under 200. My advice though is to start weight training right away.2 -

Best of luck! I don’t feel that anyone notices when I lose the first 20 lbs. My frame just makes it work. But that also makes it so much easier to get heavy without really noticing! Keep it up!5

Hi, I’m a shade under 6 feet ( 5’11.5 ) 😊 54 years old and have been losing really slowly over the past year. Was never a really curvy girl but fairly athletic frame.
Started out at 201 ( hated the way I looked )
Cut calories and took up running. Began lifting also. To my surprise, found I LOVE both and am now sitting at 167. Look and feel so much better. GW is set at 162. Will see how I feel when I get there.
Lower stomach is the bit I still dislike. Hoping that the menopause belly will finally go! It has shrunk significantly.
Best of luck to you all. Think we are lucky to be tall as we can hide our weight reasonably well most of the time.4 -
Hello, I'm 51 years old and 6 feet tall my goal weight is 200 lbs. I reached a weight of 270 at my heaviest and it was time for a change. I just started lifting light weights and stay away from heavy lifting because I bulk up very easy. Good luck on your weight loss journey.2

Good to see other ladies my height and age here. I’m 51, almost 6’1 and restarted MFP last week. Started at 197.8, currently 193.8, aiming for around 170. I’ve lost weight before but then I lose my discipline and I gain it back. Trying to make it stick this time.2
