Nutrisystem and Open Diary

Hello! I recently started Nutrisystem to help me lose some weight, and I love it so far! Sure some of the meals aren't great, but everything has a lot of protein in it! I'm starting this thread to gain friends, help motivate, and share recipes! I would love to share tasty high protein snacks and recipes! My diary is open, and I accept all requests.

Hi - Glad you have found something that 'clicks' and you are finding success.
I am curious though, your profile states how you have become highly knowledgeable in terms of nutrition and fitness. If so, why did you feel the need to have a program driven approach to your diet instead of relying on your own education?
I didn't find your diary open?
Lots of great people on MFP with great ideas/insight!2 -
Full disclosure. I threw all of mine under the house and into a crawl space. I'm saving it for the great apocalypse. It's going to be there years from now and if you find it you can have it. I don't know of any recipes for it because most of it tasted like a dog's breakfast. When you're through with food delivery you will be left to your own devices and cooking skills. Learn how to cook the foods you actually enjoy. That will take you waaay into the future.4

Hi! I believe my diary is only open to friends, not public If I'm being honest, I'm lazy when it comes to cooking! Overall I eat pretty healthy, but lately haven't seemed to lose any weight so I wanted to give this a shot! So far, I've personally liked 90% of the meals so far, and it's not really changing my diet. I notice higher protein, but I've already been eating around 1200 calories a day, and aiming to burn over 2200 (via my fitbit). I like being knowledgeable in all aspects, including things like this. Everything's worth a shot at least once! Tried noom and didn't like it, but I didn't learn anything new from them, and their app was very annoying lol. I'm a firm believer that you can't talk negatively about something you know nothing about, and I got a great deal on Nutrisystem.0 -

Sounds like you tried it years ago, the food has definitely improved! Also, most of my meals are frozen, and you're supposed to cook throughout the week as well anyways. I cook quite often as is, and my boyfriend is a chef, so learning to cook is not an issue. Thanks!0 -
Good luck with it OP.
It's not for me - I like choosing my own food not eating to a program and paying for someone to choose and supply food for me.
Plenty of easy things I can prepare myself if am feeling lazy about cooking.2
