After the walk

My daughter and motivator sweetie...walked 3 miles on our first day. I really didn't think I would do a mile infact I was think God help me to do a mile. She drove over 40 minutes to do a mile for her mommy. Oh man I'm struggling just walking a fourth of a block help Lord? She asking are you ok mom? I'm thinking no but I know I can do a mile if we just keep going. We started seeing more people out walking smiling and saying hi. I was motivated to not stop. The yards was nice lots of trees for shade and a few benches to stretch my hips and legs to keep going. I'm happy I brought water that helped alot. She brought wet wipes for my granddaughter who was strolling. The greenery and trees and gardens was so motivating to keep going. I'm noisy and wanted to see the next blocks yards. Lol it was an adventure before we knew it we had to turn around. And it was getting a little hotter. But we did it and we'll do it weekly. I can't wait.

    Nice job.

I am reminded of an inspirational quote that was very true for me.

    Paraphrasing:

What seems hard today will one day be your warm-up.
