90 Day Absence

So I have been off of here for over 90 days. I wish I could say that it was because I had a hugely successful summer of staying fit and active. Instead I played football twice a week and spent the rest of the time inactive and eating whatever it was that I wanted. Want to guess how that turned out?
But on the bright side...I did play a full season of Women's touch football. I am on;y missing one game and that is because I will be on holidays. I also competed in two obstacle races. None of which were a stellar race time but I had fun and I challenged myself and others. It made for a good day.
I have set my goal to work towards. It has nothing to do with the numbers reflected on the scale. I want to run in the Tough Mudder next year. I even have a team who is ready to race. I am super excited.
I just finished a 10 Day Metabolic Detoxification. I feel much better after that even though that was challenging as all get out.
Today I just challenged my girlfriends to a September Clean Eats Sweeps....meaning Clean Eating throughout the entire month of September with Food Journaling and Measuring inches. $20 to get in and the winner is voted on by the group and takes the pot.
I am thinking that this is a great way to support one another.
Any way....I just wanted to post this to say that I am back and I am looking to recommit to fitness. I can and will do this.
Please share with me how you bounced back after a long hiatus.
Much Love,
MrsMuffin
